Amazing taco spot in Bushwick. My boyfriend and I tried: + Pastor burrito - perfect, my favorite thing that we ate + Pastor taco - good but get the burrito instead. I did love the pineapple salsa + Carne asada taco - perfect + Chips and guac - perfect Will absolutely be back!!

My friends and I travelled to the Bushwick area just for these tacos. I heard such great things about this place and it really lives up. We had to get the al pastor tacos -- it's in the name. The toppings making the tacos extremely flavorful. I love how they put so many pieces of pineapple to sweet up each bite. What really caught our attention was the quesadilla -- talk about flavorful. The salsa is tooooo good. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and it blew all of our minds. Super big portion too. The restaurant is in the smaller side, but you probably won't stay here for too long anyway because you'll be devouring everything. The staff are extremely kind and accommodating. Would recommend everyone to come try the food here!

Yummy in my tummy! If you must know I'm a sucker for a good taco, and baby they did not disappoint. Thanks to a suggestion from a fellow Yelper I ventured here and I must say I'm a true fan. The proteins were flavorful and fresh and the hot sauce gave the perfect kick without being overpowering. I can see myself venturing here pretty often when I'm craving Mexican.

Tasting Taqueria al Pastor was one of those really chaotic and shameful trips where if you watched me push these tacos into my mouth while sitting in my car, I'm sorry. The pastor and asada tacos were both great and I'd rank them just below Tacos el Bronco and Taqueria Ramirez. I owe the line chef an apology because I had no idea the system of ordering and kept answering his questions from across the room instead of speaking to him from across the counter. To spare you, reader, from embarrassment, you order at the register (including tortilla choice) and then slide down to the left to let the next person know what toppings you'd like--similar to Los Tacos No 1. The guac-type sauce on the asada taco was surprisingly really good, like a pureed ripe avocado. Something on the plate was also a bit on the spicy side but it was warmly welcomed. Everything tasted great, probs my third or fourth favorite taqueria in BK/MH but unfortunately my single-layered corn tortillas fell apart due to the meat juices.

I have been meaning to come by this restaurant because of my deep love for carne asada and pollo asado tacos. I heard this was the place in Brooklyn for the real Taqueria sabores I usually drive to the city for (its a really tasty local chain that shall remain nameless). The staff was friendly and music filled the air, as the line cooks crooned. I love it. The are a few stools along the wall counter/tables. It's cute little space is located directly across from Wyckoff hospital, so i know they stay busy. Let me tell you, cabron, they did not disappoint! The horchata was sweet, with the hint of tangy I love and the tacos were fantastic! Freshly made tortillas, well marinated meats, fresh, salsa, guacamole, onions y cilantro. They had cucumbers in the box (at real spots, it's either cukes or radishes) adding the extra freshness & crunch to the filling. Everything tasted homemade and I'm making myself go home instead of spinning the block for another order. I'll definitely be back!

I found myself in Bushwick again this week and decided to try a taco spot that I had saved a while ago on my maps. This taco spot was recommended in a Reddit thread by multiple people who live in the area, so I had to give it a go. The space is pretty inviting and decorated and typical Mexican fashion, with colorful tiles and music blasting. I think there is window seating where you can sit down and enjoy your meal, but the vibe is mostly take out. One of the first things I noticed, is the masa and tortilla press. They make the tortillas fresh in house, which is so cool.. I ordered the Carne Asada tacos and the Pollo Asada tacos with an Horchata. My food came out pretty quick and the cashier was friendly. Tacos were delicious, meat filling was generous. I asked for all the toppings, so they did not skimp. I do think the salsa Verde could've been a little more spicy. Another annoying thing was that every time I took a bite there was liquid all over me. I think the meat needs to grilled a little bit on the grill before hitting the tortilla. Horchata was tasty, not too sweet and perfectly balanced, but I would've liked it taste more cinnamon coming through. Overall, this was a great pitstop in my busy day and if you're in the area to check them out!

I ordered one al pastor taco as a snack while on a daily walk. It was phenomenal. Fresh pineapple cilantro on a fresh tortilla along with the well seasoned meat made my day I will definitely be back for more

I've been on a New York taco bender because my favorite celebrity, internet daddy Pedro Pascal, threw down the gauntlet when he said New York doesn't have any good Mexican food. We first discovered this place on Netflix's taco chronicles. Located in a trendy part of Brooklyn near the gentrified part of Bushwick, there is nothing gentrified about this traditional street taco spot located in a Latin/Mexican neighborhood. And in my opinion, the original location is the best! You can choose from an array of tacos, quesadillas, gringas, tostadas, and rice plates. Prices are super cheap! I got the Al pastor taco with corn tortilla. It was one of the best Al pastor tacos I've had. Pineapple was juicy and pork tender and moist. I also had the carne asada quesadilla with the flour tortilla, and the same thing--dripping with juices and flavor! I got both with all the toppings--onion, cilantro, radish, cucumber, etc., and they were all fresh and crisp! Service was fast and everyone was so nice! Some of them were singing in Spanish. Great vibe. Small space, but bright and open, with several tall stools for seating. I guess Pedro has just proved, no one, not even the internet daddy, is perfect.
